The Civil Engineering Discipline expects its alumni, who after being involved in the industry or academia for at least 4 years to have mastered the following Program Educational Objectives (PEO)
PEO 1: An analytical and critical civil engineering graduates who apply in-depth knowledge and skills based on professional standards in the discipline
PEO 2: A competent, innovative and creative professional in civil engineering who can work individually or in teams on complex problem-solving tasks or design projects and who demonstrates effective communicative and leadership skills
PEO 3: An ethical professional in civil engineering who demonstrates integrity, entrepreneurship, management and information gathering skills for career advancement and lifelong learning
PEO 4: A broad-minded professional with an international outlook who demonstrates global awareness of current socio-economic, cultural and political diversities as well as ethical and environmental issues in providing services and sustainable solutions to the wider community
